Can anybody do an introductory dive with the dolphins? If you are a confident swimmer between the ages of 8 to 88 years old, you can participate in this special activity. You don’t have to have any previous experience with diving.

Is equipment provided? Full scuba equipment including air tanks is provided.

How long is the session? Participants go into the water with their own personal instructor. The session lasts for one hour. Half an hour is devoted to fitting wetsuits and fins, signing the medical statement and afterwards a briefing. Once the briefing is completed, you will meet your instructor who will fit you with the scuba gear. Half an hour is spent in the water.

How deep will I dive? You will descend to a maximum depth of 6 meters, and see the dolphins as well as a big variety of fish and corals.

What will the dolphins be doing? During our visit with the dolphins in the water, we will be observing them in their natural habitat hunting, playing, mating and teaching the younger ones. When a dolphin approaches, it does so of its own free will. We respect this approach by not touching, chasing or feeding them.

Are there any limitations to participating in the activity? For your own safety, it is important that we will be notified if you are suffering from the following: ear problems, respiratory problems (e.g. asthma, sinus and bronchitis), heart problems, high/low blood pressure, epilepsy, diabetes or claustrophobia. If you have had recent surgery or illness, have open wounds, take medication, or suffer from other medical problems or limitations we should be notified. Pregnant women are not allowed to dive.

Before we can make your reservation, we need to know the following:
The exact dates you wish to reserve.
The exact number of adults (over 18 years) or children (minimum age 8 years) who wish 
to reserve.
If you have any medical problems or limitations.
Credit card details (number & expiration date). Credit card details are to secure your 
reservation.
Your credit card will be charged 48 hours prior to the time of the activity you reserved.

Please note: Due to the fact that places are limited, we recommend that during international and local holidays, and high season, you place your reservation at least two weeks in advance in order to avoid disappointment.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations or changes must be made 48 hours in advance. If for any reason you arrive late, do not complete the activity, or have claims regarding your dive/snorkel that are not justified by the management of Dolphin Reef Dive Center, we regret that we cannot give any refunds.
