Dolphin Reef Eilat

Dolphin Reef in Eilat is a unique site in Israel and worldwide, offering visitors a natural environment and atmosphere that combines the sea, stunning views, rich vegetation, and hidden spots. The reef provides an opportunity to observe dolphins in their natural habitat (the sea), all while maintaining maximum respect for nature and the environment. The desire to deepen the bond between humans and nature is implemented at Dolphin Reef in a way that is different from other places around the world, from the physical conditions to the warm treatment and approach toward the dolphins. The fact that the dolphins choose to stay near us of their own free will strengthens the authenticity of the relationship and fulfills the vision of Dolphin Reef in Eilat.
At Dolphin Reef, the interaction with the dolphins is based on respect. All contact and closeness with humans in the water are initiated by the dolphins themselves, driven only by their curiosity and enjoyment of the physical and emotional connection. Visitors can enjoy the proximity of the dolphins from the floating pier and observation points or by joining guided swimming or introductory diving suitable for anyone who doesn't mind getting wet.

Days and Opening Hours

The site is open to visitors Monday through Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Since changes may occur due to circumstances, it is recommended to check before visiting. The site is closed on Sundays, except during school holidays and the summer break. Additionally, the reef is closed on Yom Kippur and Memorial Day for Fallen Soldiers. Note: To ensure a pleasant experience for all visitors and to maintain the well-being of those at the site, the number of visitors is limited, and on certain days, entry may be paused (usually for one to two hours) until the number of visitors decreases.

Entrance Fees and Inclusions

  • Adults: 74 NIS (ages 15 and above)

  • Children: 55 NIS (ages 3-15). Children under the age of 3 can enter for free. Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult throughout the visit.

  • Special discounts are available at the entrance upon presentation of valid ID for senior citizens, students, security forces personnel, active-duty soldiers, and people with disabilities.
    Note: There is no need for advance booking; tickets are purchased upon arrival.

The entrance fee includes:
A full day at the site in a natural environment with exotic views, beachfront lounging areas, and the opportunity to observe dolphins in their natural habitat from floating piers. Shaded areas, chairs, cold-water facilities, restrooms, and hot-water beach showers are available, including accessible options for people with disabilities.

Important Information

  • No lifeguard is present on the beach! Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Bringing food and drinks is allowed, subject to the site's rules. However, the following items are prohibited:

    • Umbrellas, hookahs, hard coolers, pets, and playing music on the premises.

  • The parking lot next to the entrance is free of charge. Additionally, there are paid parking lots and bays nearby.

  • Note: During busy periods, it may be difficult to find parking between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM. If you have booked an activity, it is recommended to arrive early or use public transportation.
